Wedding Ring Set

Wedding ring is something very essential for each and every couple, because it remains on the finger of  the spouse until their death or at least, until the marital bonding lasts. With the time passing, traditions have built up around marriages that have established appropriate times to give a ring to your partner. The first of these occasions is the pre-engagement wedding ring. Typically these rings are made from gold or silver, signifying the commitment to a relationship, that will be followed by the proposal in the future. The next one is the engagement ring, presented by a man to the woman, shortly after the proposal, which can be purchased as a part of the wedding band, next to the wedding ring. The last step to follow is the wedding ring, or wedding band, representing that the relationship has reached the highest stage, namely the two souls are going to live forever as one.

There are so many wedding ring sets to choose from and it is very hard to decide that right one that will fit the budget while at the same time being a lasting treasure. The prices of each type of ring varies as much as the style but to give you a frame of reference an 18 carat gold ring could cost upwards of £300 depending on the design and carat weight of any diamonds set into it. As these wedding rings are given at such significant times they would be made from gold or platinum set with a line of diamonds usually. Remember, that most diamonds are bought through a diamond cartel and the markup is tremendous. Usually the bride’s ring has a diamond setting. However, it depends on your culture or background as to other alternatives to diamonds.

Another hint in making your decision is, when buying wedding ring sets, the groom purchases the bride’s ring and the bride is involved in purchasing the groom’s ring. It could be that your bride would like an emerald or a ruby for a wedding ring. Only you would know but if this is acceptable to you as a couple then it is definitely a possibility. There are other features to consider when shopping for wedding ring sets such as the metal quality of the ring itself and even service plans from jewelers for ongoing maintenance of the ring (cleaning, checking the prongs, prong replacement).

There are two basic types of wedding ring sets: parallel rings and integrated rings. Parallel rings are similar to traditional, separate rings and either ring can be worn by itself, while integrated sets are a more elaborately designed pair, so that the wedding band can not usually be worn without the accompanying engagement ring, because it would look incomplete. Wedding t ring sets can be beautifully integrated designer pieces or simply elegant matched rings, perfect for a that couple, who wants a lasting, elegant symbol love and commitment, of everlasting respect and union between two, by God chosen souls to share a lifetime together.
