Customs for Men and Women Wedding Rings

The wedding ring; what can be more representative for a couple after they got married, if not the wedding ring?  These rings are the materialization of love, commitment and joy that a couple needs to imprint on the things that are around them, and most of all on their wedding rings. Wearing these rings conveys the status of belonging to someone, and this meaning can keep out the ones that try to interfere in someone else’s life. This is the gift that your wedding ring is offering you: the protection from evil spirits that are watching from behind every corner of our busy and materialistic life.

Most of the couples prefer to have the same model of wedding ring, because in this way is easier to keep track of each other (sic!), others prefer to have their wedding bands personalized one for the husband and the other one for the wife. Though this idea of customizing each wedding ring according to each other’s gender seems a bit strange, it doesn’t mean that it is not a solution to worth taking into consideration. One reason for these customs for men and women wedding rings would be that each design one desires for himself/herself has a special meaning to their love, a meaning that is known only to themselves and through the marriage to seal it forever in their life. Another reason might be that each of them wants special gems to be incorporated into the customizing, with precious stones that represent their lucky charm and catching its symbol in the design of their wedding rings would bring them good luck in the new life they start together.

Other couples choose customs for men and women wedding rings because they have some desires that their rings to resemble wedding rings that belonged to their favorite movie star, or singer, or sport star, or simply to their parents wedding rings, by the latter choice hoping they will lead the same united and happy life of their parents.

For other wedding couples it can be a choice purely out of their need to be different than the mass of newly wedded couples. There can be infinity of reasons to this choice they have opted for, but it is enough to say that whatever the reason is, as long as it represents their love and commitment to each other, we can agree that the design doesn’t count too much.

In the end we conclude that it is not the shape that matters but the essence that forms it, is of importance and relevance when it comes to choosing the style of your wedding rings.
