Perhaps not all brides of today may feel attracted or fascinated in one way or another by a vintage style ring or by a ring set with a semi-precious vibrantly colored gemstone. But even so, we are convinced that the number of modern brides who decide to go with gemstones instead of diamonds for their wedding ring is constantly increasing.

We are not here to force you or convince you in choosing a wedding ring that is really not personality-flattering or fitted to your vision and your expectations. We are here to advise you in shopping free of preconceptions and etiquettes or ring codes. Keep your mind free in order to be able to embrace more than three different styles and in the end to make the right decision.

Antique citrine wedding rings make gorgeous cheaper alternatives to more expensive sapphire or yellow diamond wedding rings. Women are picky and brides should be even more selective and pretentious when it comes to the wedding ring. After all, it’s not like you’re going to wear the ring only during the wedding ceremonies and then put it somewhere safe in a jewelry box and never wear it again! You should be aware that you are stuck with your wedding ring forever, so make sure that you make the wisest decision at the end of the search.

Citrines are among the most vibrant, cheerful, energizing and gorgeous yellowish-orange colored gems that are used in wedding rings. They (plus topaz stones) are the birthstones for November and they are famous for the rich range of mystical or spiritual properties they carry. Ancient Greeks were the ones who used citrines for the first time, and they believed that these magical stones were healing stones, able to provide the wearer with protection against depression, forgetting, heart, liver and kidney sufferings. Citrines are also used for fighting diabetes and for increasing one’s capacity of staying calm, peaceful and happy.

  1. the citrine rings are lovely, but quartz does chip easily. a client of mine bought an amethyst ring, for her engagement ring, and chipped it within a month. simply not hard enough for everyday wear.
